Tecta America N.E.’s East Hartford location under new management

East Hartford, CT Tecta America New England’s local office is under new management with the following personnel changes: John Donovan is now the general manager of both the East Hartford and Hanover, MA locations, and Richard MacTaggart is promoted to operations manager at the company’s local office.

Donovan has been the general manager of Tecta America New England Hanover since 2017. He began as a production foreman for Delta Roofing, then became general superintendent, leading to his current position. He is responsible for all phases of operations for each location. “John was promoted to branch manager of his second location based upon his success with the Hanover branch over the last three years. His ability to lead his team, along with his vision for growth in the Connecticut area, are the basis for his promotion, and I’m confident that he will be successful with both locations.” said Tecta America New England president Peter Owens.

MacTaggart has been in the roofing industry for over 25 years, joining Tecta America New England in 2004 as a roof mechanic. Over the years, he has moved up the ranks to foreman, then field superintendent, and now as operations manager. “I’m looking forward to this new opportunity, and I’m excited to work with some of the best roofers in the industry at the E. Hartford branch,” MacTaggart said. “The staff and I are eager to establish relationships with business owners in the area, and we anticipate becoming active members of the community.”
