Red Dome Realty and Facility Management & Maintenance form alliance
Boston, MA Red Dome Realty and Facilities Management & Maintenance (FM&M) have embarked on a strategic alliance to provide owners of industrial, office, medical and academic buildings a one stop offering of seamless services.
Red Dome will continue its clear focus on the leasing and sales of commercial properties but it will now include FM&M’s total facilities management capabilities to its menu of services. Red Dome’s principal J.P. Plunkett has been well-known in the commercial real estate industry for over 24 years and is ecstatic with his firm’s venture with FM&M.
“This strategic alliance is a no-brainer. Red Dome and FM&M are Dorchester neighbors who have perfectly synergistic skill sets,” said Plunkett. “We specialize in the brokerage of commercial properties while FM&M excels at operating them. Our clients and prospective ones will get fused best in class services. We offer the same power and might as the big Downtown firms – but with the agility of a local operation. Our sleeves are rolled up!”
Before starting Red Dome three years ago, Plunkett was a senior director/shareholder at Cushman & Wakefield, where he spent 16 years, and was an executive vice president/partner at NAI Hunneman, where he spent four years.
Founded in 1987, FM&M’s management staff has over 100 years combined commercial cleaning experience, as well as, over 30 years of experience in facilities management. FM&M is able to provide professional guidance and personal attention to our customers’ cleaning and maintenance needs. "Our effectiveness and success has largely been due to the knowledge and vast experience that our management team and personnel possess", said Jim Cassetta, FM&M’s president and CEO.
Red Dome and FM&M share a common mission of helping people with special needs. Plunkett cofounded Milton National Little League’s Challenger Division — which provides baseball playing opportunities for kids with autism, Down Syndrome and a multitude of other physical and intellectual disabilities. Cassetta has been an executive with Work, Inc. - an organization that employs adults with similar backgrounds.
