Cresa oversees 10,693 s/f lease extension for Redline Trading Solutions
Woburn, MA The Boston office of Cresa represented Redline Trading Solutions in lease negotiations with Cummings Properties. Redline Trading has extended its current lease at 18 Commerce Way for five years.
In addition to establishing new lease terms, Cresa negotiated for significant tenant improvements to the space. The 10,693 s/f office was redesigned to create a more modern layout, with an upgraded reception area and an open floor plan. An underutilized conference room was opened to allow for an updated café area with polished concrete, high top tables and a community table with an adjoining break out area with seating and work stations. The office was refreshed with improved lighting and new carpet and paint throughout.
“We are pleased to provide our employees with an exciting work environment,” said Robert McCollum, CFO at Redline. “Cresa worked with us on the real estate process. They identified alternative locations and ultimately helped us secure the right space at the right price at our existing location. Since Cresa focuses exclusively on tenant representation, we felt confident that we were receiving sound advice to make the best business decisions.”
Located close to Boston and Cambridge, 18 Commerce Way is set in the Rte. 128 high tech region, with access to Rtes. 128/95 and 93, MBTA bus and commuter rail service, as well as area restaurants, hotels, and retail services within walking distance.
“It was a pleasure to work with Redline Trading Solutions. Our extensive experience from years of negotiating with Cummings Properties enabled us to help them secure the best possible deal,” said Joseph Doyle, principal at Cresa. “Remaining in their current space with tenant improvements completed by Cummings on an aggressive schedule meant little disruption to the Redline Trading staff, and now they can take advantage of a brighter and improved work environment.”
