Colonial Properties completes Equity Funding's $850,000 sale to Holy Word

According to Michael Richetelli, president of Colonial Properties, Inc., Colonial has completed the sale of the former First Unitarian Church, a 14,000 s/f building on .50 of an acre, located at 5-9 Norwood St. across from the Meriden Town Hall.
Colonial Properties, Inc. was the sole broker, representing the seller, Equity Funding Mortgage, LLC. The buyer, Holy Word Foundation Ministries will also be using the property as a House of Worship. Bishop Joseph Sessions of Holy Word, who purchased the property for $850,000 has plans to totally renovate the existing structure to house its offices, sanctuary and numerous outreach programs.
