Nordblom Co. completes two leases totaling 3,184 s/f at 3rd Ave Burlington
Burlington, MA According to 3rd Ave, the dining, entertainment, and home goods heart of Burlington, James Joseph Salon & Xtend Barre are now open. Void of run-of-the-mill chains, this specialty store-lined boulevard features goods crafted by artisans and high-end brands including Wegmans, The Bancroft, Tony C’s, Kings, Osteria Nino, Bedford Farms, Boston Interiors, Cambridge Savings Bank, 18|8 Fine Men’s Salon, Redstone American Grill, Quinstance, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Kohler Signature Store, FLOR, DAVIDsTEA, Dover Rug, The Shade Store, James Joseph Salon, Xtend Barre, and XFINITY with Jenny Boston & LunchBOX opening this fall.

Xtend Barre is Pilates and dance amplified. It brings in elements of dance, ballet and Pilates to create an adrenaline-fueled workout that strengthens, lengthens and chisels the body. Based out of Boca Raton, the 1,784 s/f Burlington studio will be the second to be established in Massachusetts, the first being on Newbury St. in Boston.
“From a young age, I knew I exhibited the entrepreneurial spirit all business owners speak of. Upon graduating college, I took the corporate route but always knew deep down my passion was to own my business one day,” said Christina Zichelle, owner of Xtend Barre Burlington.
James Joseph Salon has been providing customers with cuts, colors and other hair services, along with the highest quality of customer service since 1997. Founded on Newbury St., Boston, the company has grown to 6 locations in Mass. including their latest additions in Burlington and Lynnfield. James Joseph Salon leased 1,400 s/f in Burlington.
