American Power Conv. to stay at current location

American Power Conversion will remain at its location on Fairgrounds Rd. APC had been reviewing other locations. The Rhode Island Economic Development Corp. (RIEDC) has been working with APC to ensure the company continues operating in the state. APC plans to spend $3 to $4 million renovating its facility. Besides redesigning the building's interior, some investment will go toward making the building more energy efficient. The improvements will be made over the next 6 to 8 months.
