IREM Boston Chapter welcomes 185 members to the Presidential Gala and Awards Night
On November 10, the IREM Boston Chapter welcomed more than 185 members to the Presidential Gala and Awards Night held at the Top of the Hub in Boston. Celebration was the theme of the evening recognizing the success of our members receiving their ARM and CPM designations as well as our award recipients. The Boston Chapter proudly installed 9 new ARM members and 3 new CPM members that evening.
The IREM National president and past president of the Boston Chapter of IREM, Christopher Mellen, CPM, was recognized as the guest of honor and installed as the third member of the IREM Boston Chapter Hall of Fame.
We want to again congratulate this year’s award recipients which included:
• Leadership and Mentoring Award presented to David Barrett, CPM, of Rufo Cleaning & Maintenance Co.;
• CPM of the Year presented to Peter Lewis, CPM of the Schochet Companies;
• ARM of the Year Presented to Pamelia Haynes of Micozzi Management;
• AMO of the Year presented to the Simon Companies;
• ACoM of the Year presented to Jason Falcetta, CPM;
• CPM Candidate of the Year presented to Enid Berrios CPMC, Housing Management Resources, Inc. AMO; and
• Friend of the Year presented to the Flynn Law Group.
It has truly been an honor serving the Boston Chapter members this year. This year, the Chapter obtained the status of “largest Chapter in the world”, successfully launched the first Tri State Regional Conference in Mystic, Connecticut, and celebrated our first IREM National President, Christopher Mellen. It has been quite a year.
I would like to thank all of our members and the volunteers serving on the Boston Chapter Executive Board and Committees for your continued support of the Chapter. We would not have the largest IREM Chapter in the world without you. Your support in 2016 and in the years to follow is truly appreciated.
We hope you will join us at the Exchange Conference Center in Boston on Thursday, December 8 for the annual holiday party and installation of the chapter’s 2017 officers.
For more information about the Chapter’s planned events in 2017, please contact Kelley Hannon at the Boston Chapter office.
