BOMA Boston raises $60,000 for Father Bill’s & MainSpring and Pine Street Inn
Boston, MA On Tuesday, May 17, BOMA Boston hosted a check presentation for the 3 local beneficiaries recognized at this year’s 27th Annual BOMA Benefit in March. BOMA awarded $60,000 to this year’s beneficiaries. The BOMA Benefit is an annual fundraiser, this year raising money on behalf of Father Bill’s & MainSpring and Pine Street Inn, with special recognition for Save the Harbor Save the Bay.
On Tuesday, May 24 BOMA Boston held a roundtable on Corporate Emergency Access Systems (CEAS) featuring Christine Packard, deputy director for the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and Alan Snow, director of safety and security for Boston Properties, BOMA representative on the Massachusetts CEAS advisory board. Packard and Snow described the goal of the CEAS in helping to ensure the availability and continuity of essential systems, commodities, and services by allowing critical private sector employees rapid access to their facilities follow disasters and emergency events. BOMA Boston is busy planning some upcoming summer events!
On Monday, June 6, BOMA Boston will host their Annual Fishing Tournament out of Rowes Wharf in Boston. The tournament consists of a half-day of fishing followed by a luncheon reception and brief awards program at The Daily Catch.
The BOMA Boston Golf Cup Tournament will take place on Monday, July 11 at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth. This annual tournament includes a full day of golfing, breakfast, lunch, and a late-afternoon reception following the tournament. Sponsorship and other opportunities are still available. Join BOMA on Tuesday, June 21 for a June Networking Nite. This bi-monthly event draws a crowd of commercial industry professionals for networking and cocktails at a local Boston bar.
