Mase joins Vantage Builders as project superintendent
Waltham, MA Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting and construction firm, has hired Michelle Mase as a project superintendent. She will be the firm’s onsite presence at construction projects, responsible for managing goals, schedules, vendor and sub-contractor performance and site safety.
“Michelle brings an excellent skill set to her role at Vantage, particularly with her background with safety and quality control, as well as project management and estimating,” said John Connor, principal, Vantage Builders. “She is going to be a terrific asset to the Vantage team and our clients.”
Prior to joining the firm, Mase was a building inspector for the city of Woburn, responsible for reviewing and issuing permits, performing building inspections and conducting annual inspections. Previously, she was an estimator and project manager for John A. Buttaro, Inc., and an assistant site supervisor for Brookfield Homes.
Mase earned a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She holds a Construction Supervisor License and a Building Official License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has completed a 10-hour OSHA certification. She served on the Capital Planning Committee and the Community Center Building Committee for the town of Stow, Mass., and has volunteered with the Highway 2 Help fundraiser.
