BOMA Boston reels in another successful Fishing Tournament

BOMA Boston sent a fleet of 25 fishing vessels out from Rowes Wharf on May 29th, for their annual striper and bluefish tournament, sponsored by DTZ, a UGL Company. Despite the rainy conditions, over 120 participants caught a total of 219 fish, the highest total since 2010. Chapman Waterproofing Company, aboard a boat named "Fish Tails," took home the coveted Cleat Box Award for catching 32 fish in total - the most out of any boat that went out.
Individual Awards:
* Grand Prize (largest striper): Brian Kickham, Northeast Security, Inc., 45" - 33lbs.
* Male Runner-Up: Mike Keating, Chapman Waterproofing Company, 45" - 30lbs.
* Female Runner-Up: Maria Farias, BioMed Realty, 39" - 18lbs.
Fishing tournament participants attended an awards luncheon sponsored by A.W. Perry, Inc. and Stanley Elevator Company at the Daily Catch.
In addition to the awards and raffle items which were presented at the luncheon, a silent auction was also held to raise money for a donation to Save the Harbor/Save the Bay.
