J.M. Coull earns STEP platinum for 2007 from ABC-Mass. chapter

According to J.M. Coull the firm has been awarded the esteemed Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) "Platinum" award for 2007 from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Mass. chapter. The STEP awards are presented to those companies who have proven excellence and commitment in not only their safety record, but in their commitment to promoting safety training in their company.
"J.M. Coull has been a leader in the construction industry for more than 20 years," said Matt Grew, public affairs director at ABC, "ABC is pleased to bestow one of our highest honors on a company that is a model of excellence."
A contractor-developed program, STEP awards provide an objective method to analyze and help improve safety and loss prevention programs. The STEP process provides a unique approach to recognizing the safety achievements of ABC member firms.
"Every company that earned a STEP award is an excellent example of the continued excellence in the construction industry by ABC members," said Barbara Lagergren, executive director of the Gould Construction Institute, the training arm of ABC.
