Thru the Lens: Bard, Rao + Athanas Consulting Engineers host 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing

Bard, Rao + Athanas Consulting Engineers hosted the 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing raising over $50,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Taking place on two courses at The International. The sold out tournament included 57 foursomes and in total has raised over $300,000 for MDA.
The golf tournament was started 13 years ago to show support for BR +A employee Nick Johnson, who had been diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia, aneuromuscular disease covered by MDA. Johnson is a member of the MDA's National Taskforce on Public Awareness. The fundraiser is a "tribute to his strong will and dedication to the fight against MD" said Allan Ames, BR+A president.
The event is sponsored by many local companies, including Electric Supply Center (ESC). Extreme generosity and continued support from sponsors help to make the golf outing very successful in raising funds and awareness for MDA.
