Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services sells 5,572 s/f for $810,000

According to Stephen Press, SIOR, the sale of 44 Mill Ln., has been completed. The antique mill dating back to the 1640s has a distinctive history and is set on 1.7 acres on the Farmington River. Serving as Farmington's first mill, it has housed a number of establishments over the years. The greatest portion of the 5,572 s/f building was occupied by the Grist Mill Restaurant which was opened over 20 years ago by Mario Zacco and was sold to a subsequent operator in 2001; the restaurant closed on May 31 this year.
The sale closed on July 10, at $810,000. Press, represented the sellers, The Trustees of the Estate of Mario Zacco. The buyer, Miss Porter's School Incorporated, was represented by Gayle Talbot and Bruce Cagenello, CCIM, of Prudential CT Realty.
