Nolan of H. Pearce Commercial sells 65 South Colony Road to Michael Sheehy

Chris Nolan, senior commercial assoicate of H. Pearce Commercial Real Estate, recently sold 65 South Colony Rd. The property was the former headquarters of CSM Cabinetry. The buyer, Michael Sheehy of Walligford, is in the process of redesigning and retrofitting the interior of the building. A portion of the space, which has direct frontage on South Colony Rd., will be transformed into leasable retail/office space and the balance of the facility will be marketed as industrial space. The location is adjacent to the western end of the predominately commercial area of Center St., as well as being just steps from Wallingford's commuter rail train station.
Nolan represented both the seller and buyer in the transaction.
In another transaction, H. Pearce Commercial Real Estate's senior broker Richard Guralnick, CCIM participated with Cresa Partners Boston (Shawn McDonough/Joe Sciollla) in the lease renewal transaction for Transgenomic, Inc. at 5 Science Park, New Haven. The transaction was for a five-year extension of approximately 23,000 s/f currently occupied by the tenant. Transgenomic, Inc. is a global biotechnology company advancing personalized medicine in cancer and inherited diseases through its proprietary molecular technologies and world-class clinical and research services.
H. Pearce and Cresa Partners represented the tenant while John Keogh of Colliers Dow & Condon New Haven represented the landlord, Science Park Development Corp.
