November 4, 2010 - Connecticut
GTherm, Inc. has subleased a total of 8,474 s/f of office space on the second floor of 500 Post Rd. East from Terex Corp. for a period of over 6 years, through December 31, 2016.
GTherm, formerly with offices in Shelton, is a thermal technology firm planning to build power plants, using heat from "hot dry rocks" to produce clean, reliable electricity.
Terex Corp., a diversified global manufacturer, recently moved to larger quarters at Nyala Farms Office Park. The term of the leases coincides with the conclusion of the Terex lease.
Beth Chappel of CB Richard Ellis represented GTherm while Mark Holod and Ted Hampe of John D. Hastings were exclusive listing agents for Terex. The entire third floor of 15,592 s/f remains available for sublease.
