Interstate Electrical Services celebrates 44 years serving New England

In July, Interstate Electrical Services Corp., one of New England's premier provider of electrical construction, electrical services, network systems, design/build service, and building information modeling (BIM) celebrated 44 years serving New England.
In July 1966, when Pat Alibrandi formed the company, his vision was to create an environment where employees would be rewarded based on the strength of their performance, and not just seniority. It was a concept that proved to be more than just successful.
"I am especially proud of our history; in 1966, the newly formed Interstate Electrical faced an uphill battle - a new company in an uncertain time," said Jim Alibrandi, president. "But through determination and hard work Interstate not only survived but grew to become one of the leading electrical services companies in New England."
Today, Interstate has become one of the premier providers of building and process controls installation and maintenance serving the growing life sciences market segment.
Over the past 2 years, Interstate has once again taken a leading position in the adoption and use of 3D design technology and building information modeling. A leading edge technology application just 2 years ago, BIM and 3D job coordination have now become main stream. The same determination and drive to succeed that propelled the company in the early days is what continues to drive Interstate Electrical Services 44 years later.
"Our success has been the direct result of outstanding employees, and a loyal customer base. To both I wish to offer my sincere thanks. I look forward to the next 44 years," concluded Alibrandi.
