April 25: Urban Farming
• Trish Karter, entrepreneur and the founder and former CEO of Dancing Deer Bakery, will demonstrate the economic, social and community benefits of urban farming. Karter is the CEO of LightEffect Farms
April 26: Green Expo and Trade Show
• 26 manufacturers and product experts will showcase sustainable materials, furnishings and equipment in during a trade show hosted at CBT’s Canal Street offices
“We’ve learned that programming and hosting the Green Week educational events is an ideal way to engage our staff, clients and peers on what’s new and relevant in sustainable and high performance architecture,” said Kathy McMahon, Associate Principal at CBT. Our staff love the fact that so much information is available to them in-house over the course of the week.”
