Pleasant Valley Country Club acquired by Galaxy Links, LLC for $4.1 million

Sutton, MA Pleasant Valley Country Club was acquired December 28th by Galaxy Links, LLC of Webster, Mass. for $4.1 million. 

The 200-acre nationally known and historic private New England golf course is renowned for hosting numerous PGA and LPGA tournaments that included famous golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Phil Mickelson and Kathy Whitworth. 

A 30,000 s/f clubhouse featuring a ballroom that plays host to many wedding and business events throughout the year, Champions restaurant and bar, outdoor dining area, pool and men’s and ladies locker rooms are among the many amenities offered by the club. 

Galaxy Development principal Michael O’Brien announced the sale just after the first of the year. Several cosmetic and capital improvements will start immediately and over the next few years. 

The club is currently near its capacity of membership and the new ownership is confident as its improvement plans are completed the course will be full and require a waiting list in the near future. 

Tournament dates for 2023 are nearly sold out already.
