Peabody Properties receives national recognition from National Affordable Housing Management Association

The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA), headquartered in Alexandria, VA., recently awarded Peabody Properties, Inc. - a full-service, Braintree-based real estate company - has received National Recognition as a Community of Quality for outstanding management of 42 properties in Massachusetts. NAHMA's Community of Quality National Recognition program certifies affordable, multi-unit rental properties which achieve a high standard of excellence in the areas of maintenance and management as well as residential services and personnel training, among other criteria. Peabody Props., which manages in excess of 14,000 housing units across New England, is recognized as a Community of Quality, providing the highest-quality affordable housing to low-income residents. The firm received high marks based on NAHMA's six point criteria which includes physical inspections, employee credentials, financial management, programs and services, endorsements and photographs and reports. The evaluation process is based on an evaluation of the firm's properties, management reviews, audits and replacement reserves, and other benchmarks. Staff member evaluations were based on credentials.
