Parsons of Parsons Comm'l. Group completes first Boston Marathon
Despite the record setting heat temperatures, John Parsons, principal of Parsons Commercial Group, Inc. completed his first Boston Marathon.
Parsons, who began training in December 2011 ran on behalf of the Art beCAUSE Breast Cancer Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to funding research looking at the environmental causes of breast cancer. The goal is to eradicate breast cancer. Parsons, who is a member of the 8 person team, helped raise over $40,000 to fund research. Parsons crossed the finish line with a time of 4:50:46. "It was amazing to see the strength of the people around me and the support of the team," said Parsons.
