Osgood promoted to senior project manager at DiPrete Engineering

Cranston, RI According to DiPrete Engineering, Audie Osgood has been promotion to senior project manager. Osgood began his career at DiPrete in 2005 when he joined the firm as a project engineer. In addition to being a professional engineer, he is a LEED Accredited Professional, which lends itself to the revitalization projects in his portfolio. Over the years, he has worked on several large redevelopment projects where he has collaborated with diverse design teams including developers, national engineering firms, attorneys, architects, and contractors. One of the biggest projects Audie worked on was the redevelopment of the East Providence waterfront with clients including Chevron and Providence and Worcester Railroad Co.

In his new role Osgood will manage and provide engineering assistance on a variety of projects and will handle construction documents and administration. He will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff in preparing construction documents.

“Audie’s engineering, construction, and technical expertise shines through on the large scale and convoluted projects we challenge him with,” said Greg Guglielmo, executive vice president at DiPrete Engineering. “He is also a great team player and has spent countless hours going above and beyond to guide and mentor both colleagues and clients through certain projects.”

Osgood is currently working on implementing his Lean training to develop a standard process for consistently creating high quality construction documents, and then working with everyone on the team to implement the process. He is also very involved in the firm’s initiatives to give back to the community and participates in the MS150 Ride the Rhode race every year with DiPrete’s team, The PT Riders.

“We are very proud of Audie’s hard work and commitment to the firm over the years, and look forward to what the future will bring,” said Guglielmo.
