Onset to host online course 9/21: Assessing energy efficiency in buildings

According to Onset, a world leader in data loggers, it will host a live, online course on Wednesday, September 21 at 2 p.m. EDT entitled, "Assessing Energy Efficiency in Commercial Buildings." The two-hour online course, which is aimed at building owners, facility managers, energy managers, and architects, will be presented by Don Kasper, an expert in commercial building auditing and senior building energy analyst with Steven Winter Associates, Inc. Participants will gain a better understanding of how a commercial building operates and how energy efficiency can be increased through implementation of energy conservation measures. The course will cover: * Understanding how well a building performs using utility bill analysis and benchmarking tools * Common energy conservation measures for commercial buildings * Real-world case studies of successful energy efficiency projects * Relevant standards and rating systems, such as LEED and ASHRAE Two Green Building Certificate Institute (GBCI) CE hours will be awarded upon completion of the course.
