NORTHEAST SUSTAINABLE ENERGY ASSOCIATION

The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) Jennifer Marrapese as NESEA's interim executive director. Marrapese's professional background will strongly support NESEA's programs, most notably with fundraising efforts and increasing membership. Marrapese's experience includes serving as executive director for Social Venture Partners Rhode Island and director of development for Visiting Nurse Services of Newport and Bristol Counties, RI. In addition, Marrapese began her career as an attorney and served as vice president of regulatory affairs for Cox Communications. "NESEA is the organization defining the green sector in the Northeast," said Marrapese, "I'm delighted to be joining NESEA and to play an integral role in ensuring a successful 2010." NESEA is offering its fall 2009 Sustainability Workshop Series which includes six workshops in five states scheduled to run in November and December. NESEA's sustainability workshop series serves professionals by broadening their knowledge on a wide range of critical topics that focus on three core elements: sustainable solutions, proven results and cutting-edge development in the field. Each workshop is accredited by AIA, NACHI, NARI, BOMI, AIAQC, and NAHB. Attendees receive seven continuing education units for each workshop. Visit nesea.org to register.
