North Branch completes Rodgers Memorial Library

North Branch Construction, Inc. of has completed construction of the new George and Ella Rodgers Memorial Library located at 194 Derry Rd. The new library, designed by Adams and Smith, LLC is a 13,500 s/f single story building with a 2,500 s/f basement and features a stone veneer exterior. The new $3.8 million library was a gift to the town of Hudson from Phillip and Alvin Rodgers in memory of their late parents, long time residents of the town. The George and Ella Rodgers Memorial Library will replace the Hills Memorial Library, which opened it's doors on June 11, 1909. The Hills Library closed in early April to begin the transition to the new Rodgers Memorial Library which opened this month. North Branch Const. celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2008 as one of the largest construction firms in the state. Recent projects include N.H. Public Radio's new state of the art broadcast studio in Concord; a new plant office building for Stonyfield Farm in Londonderry; the new Londonderry Bus Terminal; and Exeter Hospital's new Exeter Healthreach Dental Clinic.
