NEWiRE hosts annual meeting June 21st at the Boston Harbor Hotel - Judge Gertner is special guest
New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE) will host their annual meeting luncheon with retired judge Nancy Gertner on June 21st at 11:30 a.m. at the Boston Harbor Hotel in the Wharf Room.
After more than two decades as a criminal defense lawyer and civil rights activist, judge Gertner was appointed by President William Clinton to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1994. In September of 2011, judge Gertner retired the federal bench and joined the Harvard Law School faculty, teaching criminal law, criminal procedure, forensic science, and sentencing. In July, she will receive the Arabella Bab Mansfield Award from the National Association of Women Judges.
