New England SIORs attend an afternoon at Yankee Stadium
The New England and Tri-State New York Chapters of SIOR and CCIM organized an All-Star networking afternoon and night at Yankee Stadium on Friday, September 7th. Over 250 of the premier commercial brokers in the northeast attended this event with a guided on-field tour of Yankee Stadium held on Friday afternoon with a major reception. Legendary Yankees Johnny Blanchard, Bobby Richardson and Red Sox former player Bill Lee met with New England SIORs, Mark Stevens, Greg Klemmer, Chris Tosti, Arlon Brown, Greg Cahill for autographs.
Although no game was scheduled during this event, it was great business networking opportunity. The House that Ruth built is in its final year as it will be demolished. A new adjacent Yankee Stadium is under construction. There was a full tour of Yankee Stadium including the dugouts, locker rooms, the tour of the baseball field and the monument to Yankee greats. The attendees received autographed baseballs during the 45-minute tour. The reception lasted four hours.
