New England SIOR and NEWIRE hold September network event

The New England Chapters of SIOR and NEWIRE held their first joint chapter event at the Hotel Indigo on September 10. Over 70 members attended this event that was held out on the patio level of the Boxx Restaurant. The hotel owners, Normandy Real Estate Partners, sponsored the event and the Chapters thank them. The event included an open bar, roaming hors d'oeuvres and other stationary food. Greg Klemmer welcomed the attendees and gave an overview of both the SIOR and NEWIRE organizations. Klemmer stated that SIOR would like to expand its membership both with younger members and more females. He is hoping that the two organizations would find synergy. Additionally Ray Trevisan, principal of Normandy Real Estate Partners, said a few words describing their involvement in the Boston area commercial real estate markets and with the Hotel Indigo renovations. They have a 14 million s/f portfolio and Trevisan thanked the attendees for making the evening a success. We would like to again thank the sponsor, Normandy Real Estate Partners, and SIOR members Greg Klemmer and Jim Boudrot for arranging the event.
