NETCO Coastal completes Powers Farm Boardwalk

Randolph, MA NETCO Coastal Construction completed construction of the Powers Farm Boardwalk.

NETCO build a 400 foot boardwalk across an Atlantic white cedar swamp area to open up access to nature lovers and students. The town owns the 22-acre park which they purchased through a land donation and state grant in 2012. The Powers Farm boardwalk connects two existing town public walkways and bicycle trails. The boardwalk consists of helical piles as the foundation for a heavy timber boardwalk designed to support a minimum of 4 tons. The park also includes a restroom facility, a pavilion for events or classes and a floating dock.

“The Powers Farm boardwalk provides residents with a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy right in the middle of town,” said David Lager, president and founder of NETCO.  “The boardwalk connects the public walkway and bicycle trails and will provide pond access. It is a wonderful recreation area for families to enjoy.”
