NEREJ’s 60th Anniversary: Matt Cawley, National Multi Family

Matt Cawley
President
National Multi Family

When did you discover the New England Real Estate Journal? In the mid-2000’s. My dad, Rich Cawley, who runs the brokerage firm United Multi Family would always have a stack of them at his office. I would always enjoy reading them when I would go into the office as a teenager.

In what way has New England Real Estate Journal been a benefit to you and your business? The NEREJ has been and still is one of the best resources for commercial real estate news in New England. The whole NEREJ team has been a fantastic partner throughout my career. As a 33-year-old, my generation has mainly switched to a digital format for news information, which the NEREJ provides and has certainly done a great job with. However, I always enjoy, just as I did 20 years ago, reading the physical paper when it comes down to my office in New York.

How long have you been affiliated with the commercial real estate industry? A full-time commercial real estate investment sales broker for almost a decade now.
