NAI Hunneman adopts family through NEWIRE's holiday party
NAI Hunneman has adopted a family through NEWIRE's Holiday Adoption party consisting of a 36 year old mother and her four children under the age of 16, from Carolina Hill shelter.
Bonny Doorakian, senior associate, of NAI Hunneman and member of New England Women In Real Estate (NEWIRE), the region's leading professional organization promoting the advancement of women within the commercial real estate industry, organized the adoption of the family in need. Items being collected by NAI Hunneman include new warm clothing, age-appropriate toys, and shoes.
"NAI Hunneman is pleased to be a part of such a generous cause," said Doorakian. "It is especially important this holiday season, due to the current economic state, to give back to the community by helping out a family in need."
Carolina Hill is a private, non-profit corporation operating as a transitional shelter for homeless women and children. Since June 1988, Carolina Hill has provided for 323 families with a total of 610 children.
