Worcester, MA NAI Global has named its newest member firm, NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs. Under the direction of its three principals, James Glickman, Peter Kovago and Michael Jacobs, Glickman Kovago & Jacobs brings in-depth knowledge of Worcester County’s marketplace and a wide range of commercial real estate services, including commercial leasing and sales, property management and construction.

“We selected NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs to represent our organization in Worcester because of the team’s deep local market knowledge, track record and ability to drive business. We’re pleased to work with them to offer NAIGlobal Members and their clients access to a growing number of opportunities this market,” said Jay Olshonsky, president of NAI Global.

Worcester is the second largest city in New England, and is home to more than 5,000 businesses as well as 12 area colleges and universities. Its access to public transit includes Union Station, an inter-modal hub hosting Amtrak and MBTA commuter rail service. The city’s economic development initiatives have attracted commercial real estate developers and businesses, and includes a number of multifamily, hotel and mixed use projects. Worcester continues to experience higher than average population and employment growth compared to the rest of Mass.

“The decision to join NAI Global was an interesting process,” said Kovago. “What we initially saw as a chance to increase referral business, quickly became a clear opportunity to significantly improve the way we do business and serve our community. Worcester has experienced some tremendous changes during the past decade or so, and we believe businesses outside of our market are taking notice.”

Kovago notes that joining the NAI Global network enables the firm to promote the Worcester community to a larger market. “By joining NAI Global, our reach became national, even international. We now have a network of over 375 offices and more than 6,700 brokers to directly market Worcester and its surrounding communities. We joined a network of like-minded brokers and entrepreneurs that are willing to share their relationships, expertise and experiences. We are now able to offer our brokers and employees the ability to expand their careers and skills in ways in ways we never would have imagined before. The knowledge base is tremendous, and the dedication to service, ethics and professionalism are at the highest levels. As part of NAI, we are able to offer our clients access to local experts anywhere in the world.”
