Nahigian invited to speak at C5+CCIM Global Summit

Hollywood, FL The National Association of Realtors has invited Rob Nahigian,FRICS,SIOR,CRE, MCR of Auburndale Realty Co. to speak on September 17 and 18, 2024 at the national convention for CCIM known as the C5+CCIM Global Summit. The national convention will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

In the past the conference has attracted over 800 attendees. Nahigian will be speaking as a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) on logistics and supply real estate site selection decision-making. The morning event will be on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The session is titled “From Shanghai to Your Shelf: Logistics and Supply Chain Industrial Real Estate”. This talk is a small portion of his 2-4 hour version of Logistics Supply Chain that he has been delivering to commercial boards and industrial companies since 2016. The topic incorporates the addition of the third canal at the Panama Canal and the shift of supply chain delivery to the east coast. Most importantly he surveyed over 65 companies and will share the mathematical regression models that internal real estate departments engage to develop an industrial real estate decision on site and facility options in the marketplace. Nahigian had recently delivered this presentation in Baltimore in 2023 prior to the Keyes Bridge collapse. He has visited over 25 ports and inland ports for his research.

This is not your grandfather’s way of site selection but now includes outside of the box metrics.

On Sept. 17, Nahigian will be assisting a port tour of the Port of Everglade with the director of the port. A bus of 50-60 attendees is expected for this half-day tour.

Nahigian was previously awarded Boston’s CBA Industrial Deal of the Year and was co-recipient of the Counselors of Real Estate J. Felt Counseling Award for the Cannistraro industrial deal in the Black Falcon, Boston.
