Monahan and McGrath of Studley rep. Maritz in 36,226 s/f sublease

Maritz Inc., a sales and marketing services company, has subleased 36,226 s/f of class A office space at the Mellon Bank Center located at 1735 Market St. According to leading commercial real estate services firm Studley, the company is relocating from 55,000 s/f of office space within the Wanamaker Building, also on Market St. Studley corporate managing director Timothy Monahan and assistant director Patrick McGrath represented Maritz in the eight-year sublease. Whit Hunter and David Heally of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the sublessor, Mellon Bank. "Maritz's management team was seeking more efficient and profitable Class A office space that could also help the company improve its employee recruiting and retention," said Monahan. "This particular location met all of the company's objectives, proving to be the optimal space for the company's new Philadelphia office."
