Mohanan joins Sanbord, Head & Associates, Inc. Philadelphia office

Philadelphia, PA Sanborn, Head & Associates, Inc. (Sanborn Head) has added Nisha Mohanan, PE as a project director in the firm’s Development Client Service Area. Mohanan will serve as a senior leader for the firm operating out of Sanborn Head’s Philadelphia office and will oversee geotechnical, geo-environmental, and civil engineering projects for clients across the region. 

“We are thrilled to have Nisha join our team,” said Sanborn Head’s Mid-Atlantic operations manager Colleen Costello, PG. “Her extensive experience is helping us grow our Mid-Atlantic practice while ensuring we maintain our focus on delivering outstanding client service and technical leadership.” 

Senior vice president and Delaware office lead Matt Van Rensler said, “Nisha has been a great addition to our development practice. Her technical expertise has allowed us to expand our service offering to multiple clients including developers, owners, architects, and civil engineers looking for innovative engineering solutions to support new development in the Mid-Atlantic.” 

Mohanan is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Delaware. She has over 16 years of experience providing geotechnical and geo-environmental services to clients across a wide range of industries. Her areas of expertise include designing geotechnical investigation programs, providing foundation and ground improvement recommendations, geotechnical instrumentation, slope stability analysis, pavement design, and infiltration testing. Nisha received a M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering from Clemson University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (India).
