Melillo of Pearce Real Estate brokers 1,700 s/f lease

Wallingford, CT According to Barbara Pearce, CEO and president of Pearce Real Estate, David Melillo, senior commercial associate at the company’s North Haven commercial office, has represented Summit Technical Services in the procurement of 1,700 s/f office space at 1062 Barnes Rd. Summit Technical, a specialty group of The Reserve Network, provides staffing for high technology and engineering companies with mechanical, electrical, software and manufacturing engineers, CAD designers and drafters. Betty Schlett of True Realty represented the owners of the building, Landmark of Wallingford, Inc.

“Dave Melillo is an experienced commercial agent and a true value to his clients and to our firm,” said Pearce. “His commanding knowledge of the area, his pro-active approach to advising to clients and his intuitive understanding of their needs garners their trust and confidence. Melillo joined the commercial division of Pearce Real Estate in February 1995. Prior to his career at Pearce, he worked for twenty years in the banking industry in various positions including commercial real estate finance, workout and the management and sale of bank-owned real estate.

Professionally, he is a member of the Connecticut Association of Realtors®, the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors®, and the Commercial Investment Division of the New Haven Association of Realtors®, past Chairman. He has also been active in numerous community activities, including the Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center of Greater New Haven, Special Olympics, and North Haven Youth Baseball.  Dave has also been a long-time volunteer, former member and past president of the Board of directors at Ronald McDonald House, a home away from home for families using the New Haven area hospitals.
