McGuinness joins Bowdoin as director of design management
Needham, MA Bowdoin Construction has hired Shawn McGuinness as director of design management.
McGuinness brings more than 30 years of industry experience in both the private and public sectors, most recently as manager of design and construction at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester.
In this new role, she will lead the firm’s preconstruction efforts on design-build work. She will work directly with Bowdoin’s estimating and operations teams, coordinating with outside design partners, to oversee development of the design-build projects in Bowdoin’s portfolio.
“We are fortunate to add a seasoned professional to our team as we seek to grow our design-build capabilities, serving clients across our market sectors, throughout New England,” said company president, Andrew Buckman.
