“We’ve been part of the Westport community since 1963, and are excited to expand our practice in a new, larger space at the Westport Center for Health. We were attracted to the center’s flexible spaces and ideal waterfront location, and can’t wait to move to our new location this summer,” said David Greenfield, CEO of OrthoConnecticut, PC. “This new office allows us to provide improved convenience to our existing and new patients alongside a group of highly-acclaimed medical providers.”

The Westport Center for Health represents one of the largest collections of medical providers in the area, which TDC transformed from a group of underutilized buildings into a highly regarded medical campus now home to Westport Dermatology & Laser Center, Westport Dental Associates,Village Pediatrics, Professional Physical Therapy and Women’s Health Connecticut.

“Our vision for the Westport Center for Health as a one-stop-shop for medical services is coming to fruition. We are proud to welcome an impressive practice like Coastal Orthopedics to the center, and to enhance the community by delivering a premium venue for healthcare services,” said David Allen, a vice president of asset management for TDC. “The campus has really grown into an environment with a strong sense of community that will benefit both the facilities’ staff members and their patients.”

TDC transformed the property into a campus, investing in substantial capital improvements that included: upgrades to the building’s landscaping, parking areas, roofs and exterior facades; an improved signage program and renovated lobbies.

“Coastal Orthopedics is a leading orthopedic group with a large following that complements the existing practices at the Westport Center for Health. Filling the property with its impressive tenant roster has been a great collaborative effort, and we are thrilled to continue working with TheDavis Companies to bring additional specialized services to the Westport area,” said Avison Young principal Sean McDonnell. “Top practices in Westport and its neighboring towns see the center as the place to grow and be successful.”

TDC is well-known for its repositioning and renovation projects throughout the Eastern U.S. The company repositioned Charles River Plaza, which is adjacent to one of the nation’s top hospitals - Massachusetts General Hospital - into the mixed-use center it is today. TDC has also reimagined multiple office parks into business destinations throughout the Eastern U.S.
