Mayor Menino accepts $10,000 for donation to Camp Harbor View
Equity Office Properties presented $10,000 donation to Camp Harbor View, a summer camp for the youth of Boston's at-risk neighborhoods and favored cause of Mayor Menino.
Camp Harbor View is maintained almost entirely through donations like Equity's. Campers' families are asked to pay only $5 for tuition, and the camp provides transportation, clothing, footwear and three meals per day.  The day camp offers over 600 Boston children between the ages of 11-14 the chance to escape the city in July or August and take part in summer camp activities on Boston Harbor's Long Island, such as hiking, swimming, sports and arts and crafts. The program provides a healthy and fun experience in an effort to build confidence, develop environmental awareness, encourage creativity and help campers develop their leadership skills.
"Equity Office is proud to support Camp Harbor View. We believe that every child should have the summer camp experience. It is programs like Camp Harbor View that will shape and sustain the leaders of tomorrow, "said Greg Shay, president of Equity's Boston office.
"Each summer Camp Harbor View becomes a haven for hundreds of Boston's youth. The support from Equity will help us continue to provide an unforgettable camp experience for many more. I want to thank Equity for this generous contribution," mayor Thomas Menino said.

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
The industrial markets have never been stronger. What has happened is that the build out of Devens with new high-tech biotech manufacturing with housing to service these buildings serves as the connector required to really make the I-495 West market sizzle. Worcester has been the beneficiary
