Mass. Chapter of ABC Excellence in Construction Awards - Windover Construction

Manchester, MA The Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors congratulates Windover Construction, Inc. for receiving the Eagle Award at the 23rd annual Excellence in Construction Awards for their outstanding work on Brookwood School located in Manchester, Mass. 

The Eagle Award recognizes the overall excellence in project execution, craftsmanship, safety, innovative elements and challenges, and client satisfaction. Windover Construction took home the Eagle Award, representing the pinnacle of achievement, for its work on the Brookwood School. Following a true Design/Build approach for this fast-track, multiple phased project, Windover performed preconstruction and construction of this 26,000 s/f wood framed and structural steel facility. Construction took place in two phases and finished nearly 3 months early. Phase 1 included building four new classrooms and providing a temporary drop-off and pick-up area. Phase 2 began with the demolition of the vacated kindergarten and first-grade wing for infill construction. Phase 2 added new first through third grade classrooms (a total of nine new classrooms), a large atrium “town square” area, renovations to the existing kitchen and server, and construction of a new 220-seat dining hall with vaulted ceilings.
