Mark your calendars for May 14th annual golf outing at Turner Hill

The Chapter is holding its annual golf outing on Thursday, May 14th at Turner Hill in Ipswich. The golf outing was held here last year and has been a popular location. The golf outing will accommodate 24 slots and will feature a "shotgun" format. The outing will commence at 11:30 a.m. and conclude with a reception after all teams have completed the course. A box lunch will be served; carts will be provided with food and beverage circulating the course. In 2005, Travel + Leisure Golf ranked Turner Hill as "One of the 10 Best New Private Courses in the U.S." Spanning 7,021 yards, this award-winning, 18 hole championship course was designed by Hurdzan/Fry, a highly respected firm in the field of golf course design. The course preserves and promotes the area's breathtaking, natural surroundings offering a balance of dramatic and challenging play. The clubhouse at the Mansion features a game room with bowling alley, private men's and women's locker rooms, the Mansion Club Restaurant and the Members Grille overlooking 3 holes of golf where SIOR has held its receptions. Thank you to John Cissel and Jim Boudrot for arranging the outing. Further information will follow to members via email.
