Margulies Perruzzi Architects chosen to design new office space for Dassault Systemes

Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA) has been selected to provide interior architectural design services to Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, at its 90,000 s/f, class A office space at Northwoods, a new office park development at 1301 Atwood Ave. In the coming months, MPA's workplace strategists and designers will collaborate with the Dassault Systèmes team on an innovative layout, design, and interior finishes for the new space. MPA is currently renovating the entire 338,600 s/f Northwoods for Hobbs Brook Management LLC. "This new office park in Johnston, R.I. is an example of our commitment to develop a stronger regional presence throughout the United States in order to be close to our growing customer base," said Bruno Latchague, managing director, Dassault Systèmes North America. "This location is SIMULIA's Global Research & Development Center, home to the brightest minds in 3D simulation. With MPA's help, our goal is to create a space conducive to teamwork to help spark new ideas that can lead to even more business innovation." With a goal of achieving LEED certification for the entire building, MPA will incorporate sustainable materials wherever possible. Other plans include a large client conference center for training on Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE applications; an employee "hub" that will include a lounge and café for staff; teleconferencing capabilities; and an outdoor soccer field and basketball court. Dassault Systèmes employees will also enjoy the benefits of a new full-service fitness center at Northwoods that will include showers and locker rooms in addition to the office park's new cafeteria. The Northwoods project for Hobbs Brook Management and Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA is expected to be complete in the fall of 2014. Consistently ranked as one of Boston's top architectural and interior design firms, Margulies Perruzzi Architects creates buildings and interiors for clients who value design. The firm services the corporate, professional services, healthcare, research/lab, and real estate communities with a focus on sustainable design. Clients include Manulife/John Hancock, Nuvera Fuel Cells, Reliant Medical Group, Sapient, Hobbs Brook Management and Forrester Research.
