Lupoli Companies develops COVID-friendly amenities spaces for residents working from home at Riverwalk Lofts

Lawrence, MA In 2021, Lupoli Companies released the final phase of its Riverwalk Lofts luxury apartment community, adding 10,000 s/f of amenity space.

“With almost 30% of our residents working from home, we wanted to make sure we provided ample space for them to escape their apartment and spread out,” said Sal Lupoli, president and CEO of Lupoli Companies. “We really took advantage of the volume of space available, adding six floors of amenities spaces, and also adding office nooks in each unit.”

Each of the six floors of the Riverwalk Lofts has its own unique space including a coffee and tea lounge, community dining room and kitchen, fitness center, game room, wine lounge and work lounge. Additionally, the building features several workspaces throughout, so residents can step away from their apartment and still enjoy privacy while working.

When designing the new spaces, Lupoli worked with top-tier architects to develop a modern, open, luxury feel for each space, allowing residents to enjoy a truly elevated experience throughout the community. Mixed metals, marble finishes and oversized black and white prints showcasing the history of the mill building were meticulously placed throughout each space, with shades of blue giving a nod to the Merrimack River that the property sits adjacent to.

Riverwalk Lofts also offers outdoor space including a rooftop deck and a dog run. Future plans to activate the Merrimack River boardwalk are in place to provide residents with community walking trails.

Units in the final phase of Riverwalk Lofts range in size from 866 s/f to 1,544 s/f for studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
