Linda Letourneau of Redstone was the listing and selling broker representing the owner Ethan Allen Retail, Inc. of Danbury, Conn. in the sale transaction of an 82,226 s/f manufacturing facility and 16 acres of land located at Rte. 105 East, Ethan Allen Dr. The buyer, Francis & Melanie Azur of Coraopolis, Pa. have plans to renovate and invest up to $10 million and bring the idle plant back to life. The newly formed company, Vermont Renewable Energy Co., will develop and operate a wood pellet processing plant, utilizing American made equipment and employ up to 30 employees.

The proceeds were part of the sale transaction of the former Ethan Allen furniture plant located in Island Pond. The donation is a contribution specifically for the Library's Children's Books Fund Campaign.
