Danvers, MA Longtime former owner of two landmark North Shore businesses, Len Leibowitz, recently joined Nordlund Associates, Inc. in Danvers as a commercial real estate broker specializing in industrial-related brokerage and consulting services.

A lifelong North Shore resident, Leibowitz began his career, which has spanned 4 decades, in 1975 when he opened North Shore Auto Imports on the Lynnway in Lynn – his first automotive dealership selling Fiat cars.

In 1981, Leibowitz founded North Shore Mitsubishi, 1 of only 75 dealerships at that time nationwide, and acquired national recognition from 1981 – 2005 as the automotive manufacturer’s premier frontrunner in sales and customer service. In 1992, Leibowiz moved the dealership from Lynn to Rt. 114 in Danvers. In New Hampshire, Leibowitz founded Nashua Mitsubishi in 1986 and maintained ownership until 1992.

Following the sale of his auto businesses in 2005, Leibowitz utilized his business experience specializing in medium-sized businesses and embarked upon a career as a consultant in business mergers and acquisitions and as a commercial real estate broker.

“At Nordlund Associates, I bring my vast experience, expertise and understanding of commercial real estate and enterprise transactions and look forward to servicing current clients and meeting new ones,” said Leibowitz.

Leibowitz is a graduate of Curry College and attended Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Business Administration and has been a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate agent since 2006.

Leibowitz is a graduate of Marblehead High School and still resides in town with his wife of over 40 years, Debbie, where they raised 3 children and now enjoy 3 grandchildren.
