Lee Kennedy Co. interiors group awarded tenant improvement contracts from Verizon, FAA and Marriott Corp.

Verizon, the Federal Aviation Administration and Marriott Corp. have all tapped Lee Kennedy Co.'s interiors group to lead construction on significant tenant improvement projects. The trio of projects demonstrates continued momentum for the contractor's specialized interiors group. In its first pairing with national telecommunications firm Verizon, Lee Kennedy Co.'s team will complete an eight-week roof replacement at the company's Harrison Ave. location in Boston. With Marriott Corp., Lee Kennedy will fit out 32,000 s/f for the hotel chain's northeast regional sales office and call center. This is the contractor's second Marriott project. Located in Medford the $1.5 million project will be complete in mid-November after just nine weeks of construction. Lee Kennedy is working with Sasaki Associates and long-time client Equity Office Properties on preconstruction efforts for its 92,000 s/f renovation of the Federal Aviation Administration's office space in Burlington. Construction will begin in March 2010 and is slated to last 13 months. These latest additions to the group's portfolio complement current fit-out projects for clients including Bank of America, Suffolk University, Boston Financial Data Services and Wells Fargo, among others. "These three recent wins demonstrate the wide range of our capabilities in the interiors market. We are excited to work with such high caliber organizations and are proud to count many of them as repeat clients," said Scott Giles, project executive. Celebrating more than 30 years of building partnerships, Lee Kennedy Co. is New England's premier provider of client-focused, quality solutions in the construction industry. The full-service contractor provides feasibility studies, preconstruction, program management, project management and general contracting services for new construction, renovations and historic restorations.
