Lee Kennedy Co. completes $3.6 million, 45,000 s/f complex fast-track fit-out for Juniper Networks in 12 weeks

Lee Kennedy Co. recently completed a $3.6 million fast-track interior fit-out for Juniper Networks, on of the leaders in high-performance networking. In just 12 weeks, Lee Kennedy Co.'s team completed a full demolition of the existing office space and installed new office and reception space, a 3,000 s/f data center, a computer lab, a complex HVAC system and dry fire protection systems. The fit-out space provides heightened energy efficiencies and increased the number of available work stations by 98%. Coordination was critical to the successful completion of this 45,000 s/f space. Lee Kennedy Co.'s team worked closely with the design team, building manager and tenants to minimize construction impact within the operating facility. The team performed all demolition and utility shut-downs during off hours and coordinated a special access system to load materials from the side of the building while allowing the building full use of the loading dock area. The team meticulously scheduled construction activities to accommodate long lead mechanical items and interior design work within the aggressive schedule. Lee Kennedy Co. was the ideal contractor for Juniper Networks, based on its strong track record of success in the commercial interiors space and the company's reputation for solid teamwork and partnering with clients. Designed by R.E. Dinneen Architects & Planners, Inc., the horseshoe-shaped office space features high-end finishes, custom millwork and glass and wood paneling.
