Lassel Architects launches new website
South Berwick, ME Lassel Architects celebrated 30 years in business this month with the launch of a newly redesigned website.
The new site allows visitors to view a gallery of completed projects, including commercial, residential, multi-family housing and municipal designs. A distinctive focus of the project gallery highlights the sustainable aspects of each project; specific details are provided to show how the project meets the needs of the users and how it impacts the environment. This feature showcases the firm’s reputation for implementing best design practices and high impact strategies in the creation of healthy places to live and work. Additionally, the site introduces the Lassel Architect team, displays current news stories featuring the firm, and highlights the various services offered including historic preservation, site design, planning, energy consulting and more.
“Our firm is now 30 years old and it was an appropriate time to create a new web site” said founder and principal architect, Michael Lassel, AIA. “The new site reflects our commitment to quality design and environmental stewardship. We wanted to create a site that was user-friendly and allows us to frequently add content, ideas, project updates and link to other sites to help keep visitors informed. It is designed to change as we change and continue to grow.”
Lassel Architects was founded in 1989 and has been providing sustainable design services to clients throughout New England for three decades. Most recently, the firm designed the new police station for the town of South Berwick.
The firm provides a broad range of services with experience in a variety of project types. At Lassel Architects, sustainable design is regarded as a standard method of practice, not a specific exception to selective projects. Firm employees continually expand their knowledge base in sustainable design principles, keeping abreast of the most recent design and building techniques that conserve natural resources, promote the re-use of materials, reduce waste and lower energy consumption and operational costs.
