Landry/French selected as construction for two Avita Memory Care facilities

Avita Memory Care, Wells, ME Avita Memory Care, Wells, ME

Wells, ME Landry/French Construction Company has been selected as construction manager for two new Avita Memory Care facilities to be located in Brunswick and Wells.

Each 45,000 s/f, single-story, wood-framed building will include 60 resident rooms (70-beds). In Brunswick, the new facility will be developed on a 14-acre site at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station, now known as Brunswick Landing.  In Wells, the new facility will be built on a parcel next to York Hospital and Wells High School.

The projects are a joint venture between Sandy River Co. and The Northbridge Cos.

Construction of the two facilities is expected to be completed in the fall of 2016. The architect is Gawron Turgeon.
