Landry/French Construction completes Verrill Dana’s office renovation

Portland, ME Landry/French Construction has completed significant renovations at Verrill Dana’s offices at One Portland Sq. in the downtown. Verrill Dana’s offices occupy the top four floors overlooking the Old Port and Casco Bay. The 64,000 s/f, multi-floor renovation was completed in 10 phases over a period of 20 months.

A two-story space was created on the 9th and 10th floors that anchor a conference center with nine meeting rooms. A “loungebrary” combines library resources with a staff lounge and flexible meeting space, creating a social hub for the 90-person firm. The space includes new video conferencing, modern technology, all new finishes, lighting, and mechanical systems throughout.

To minimize disruptions in the occupied spaces throughout the project, extensive coordination by Landry/French was required in order to minimize disruptions in the occupied spaces.

Canal 5 Studio of Portland designed the renovations.
