Landry/French Const. promotes Laybourne to project executive

Brian Laybourne

Scarborough, ME Landry/French Construction, one of Northern New England’s leading construction management firms, has promoted Brian Laybourne to project executive.

Laybourne has 20 years of experience in commercial construction which includes planning and overseeing small and large-scale projects. In his role as project executive, he will be responsible for providing overall team leadership, including leading and developing project teams, project oversight of day-to-day construction activities, and focusing on the client experience.

He is currently overseeing the $36 million renovation for Abbott Laboratories at Gannett Dr. in South Portland. Prior to joining Landry/French, Laybourne spent several years working for McCarthy Building Companies in Denver.

Laybourne has a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Conn.

Landry/French’s experience includes a diverse range of projects including education, healthcare, commercial, corporate, financial, and housing. Landry/French was recognized as a Top New England Contractor by Engineering News Record for the past three years.

Other awards and recognition include five AGC
